What most believe or say is not always true

Test it or leave it like that.

Epictetus propounded that a businessman knows if the currency is fake. They never swayed from unaccepting if it went against the test. But this is not true when it comes to believing an opinion. People follow what most say without testing its authenticity.

It is hugely hurting when your people leave you to fate because you were not at par with their expectations!! They create a negative folklore about you and those marvellous goons put up conditions before you to accept, and unless you succumb, the blackmailing maid also makes you feel unworthy of what you possess.

A stoic lesson worth understanding is the beguiling harm of living a life of your choice is that it might fail you so many times and break your backbone. But you must get stabbed and beaten up to protect your family. You must show courage against the common opinion. Your terms and choices are not granted by the people. Because the folks have themselves in their perspective. Who are you?

If such are the issues that you need to solve, it means you are above the normal problems of life already. You have achieved enemies who have been created by convention.

A stoic lesson has an answer to itself.
