Learnings usually cannot be snatched away

True knowledge is within me!!

Sometimes I feel insecure as if people are trying to snatch away my kind of work and knowledge from me. It is just an insecurity and not a reality, but still, the feeling does not go. Exactly like an old granny who is insecure about her belongings.

This doubt is because I am good at it. I know my work. I have all plans about my life but there are these malicious intruders to my success. My answer to them is, you cannot snatch away my knowledge as well as my learnings. And it will keep growing till my last breath. Such is my conviction. Such is my attempt to learn, read and teach productively. This is my meal, my satisfaction, my quest, and my love.

It is very difficult to derail someone who is self-motivated. I just smiled at the thought of the H.M.S Bounty at a word that occurred to me while thinking of a mutiny. The captain of the ship won over the mutiny sailors. This is because he meant good and knew what he was doing. As for me, let the mutiny happen against me. I still remain. I still win with the right intentions.

Knowledge cannot be snatched away unless someone mutilates your gray matter, yes but you have to die for that, even then the only thing visible would be an organ and not the knowledge packed in it which was once human. So that’s how if we learn every day of our life, by beating ourselves up and taking up challenges, towards specific knowledge aquirement, our goal of growth is half reached. Because once you are dead, the knowledge and its application no longer belong to you. It should have been disseminated and expressed in some form. That’s why people write their expertise for others. Like in the previous year I wrote on Preventive Cardiology, a book with a community medicine perspective, the second book of its kind by authors in our country.

Your contribution can be profound if you continue to do so. Every drop in the ocean!! These drops of favors are important, give and receive. It only works like that.

Sometimes its hard to consider your life’s call. Sometimes you feel not like it. You think why push yourself so hard. But why not? Here are a few reasons that are the learnings from someone who has struggled with stuff throughout her life:

  1. There is a brain attached, use it.
  2. Switch off the futile thoughts, express your agony to yourself and set up again for accomplishing your goals.
  3. Every now and then resurrect. Were you born to succumb to a world that is continuously harassing and de-motivating you? You were born not to die everyday.
  4. People respect you but they may not show it. That’s because many people are not generous with their words and gestures. They do not have abundance, how can they give? They lack courage. With this affirmation remember that knowledge is an antidote to all those who disrespect you.
  5. Prevent seeking external validation as much as possible. It might be that you become the only one singing your song for 40–50 years before you become the ombudsman. You went through the process.
  6. There is no savior out there, so why even feel safe? Feel the life you are living in self-compassion. You deserve it after bestowing a lot of love to others. Its not taken in good stride. People dread vested interest. They doubt you always. It is something like, she went to the right lane, the left was better and the opposite told by someone who was going left. We also doubt others by the way. Again love your books, work and apply the knowledge you acquired by nurturing minds for self-compassion.
  7. Mother Earth has never borne an ideal person. We should learn this fact and ease our agitation about others. Are we ourselves that much ideal that we expect others to be so. Before you pick on that person do some self-reflection. Keep the correct knowledge, in its purest form.

This year I have planned two books. In the era of artificial intelligence, the books might remain two drops in the ocean but my motive is to sort out and compile my knowledge that cannot be taken away. I apologize for the ‘I’ and ‘my’, but I am grateful for all your ‘I’s and ‘my’s that made me capable of writing stuff online, and learn and enable myself to follow the right study culture. So that’s about it. I wish everyone a life knowledge wise abundant.
