A Salesian sister taught me this!!

Today I am very tired. The day was not fruitful. My laptop was open and I was reading a journal mentioning the impact of religiosity on health. It wasn’t super interesting but I have a predilection to read the thing completely before I begin to write a review or summarize.

I could not concentrate and my left sided neck became heavy, as I was doing my work turning my head to one side. That was tough, and I had an ‘Oh Boy’ feeling as if how much more will I suffer from wrong postures and broken neck.

I read one sentence, then wandered, again read the same sentence, then remembered something else. It felt like a huge mental battlefield where I had to lead an entire army of thoughts to a safe land, from where I could reach the peace of mind to complete the entire paragraph. Guess what, a usual 10–15 minutes of reading, took me 2 hours.

Then I went on to the second journal, which was more brisk and easier to comprehend because then I was in flow, and my neck pressure was a bit better. This is not the first time, that I had a war in my head to read with postural difficulty. After completely reading and appreciating the first journal, I remembered a sister (our headmistress) in my school. During her morning thoughts for the day, she shared her experience; which goes:
